Typefaces

Two fonts, both served through Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License: Fraunces for headings, Inter for body copy.

Images

No dish goes without a visual placeholder — when a recipe or guide lacks real photography, a designed tile fills that spot instead of a stock photo that doesn't match the dish. Any photography that is used was either shot for Egeveb or licensed properly for the purpose; nothing here hot-links an image from another site.

Where sources live

A historical or regional claim that needs a citation gets that citation at the bottom of the page where the claim appears, not bundled into this page. That keeps each source attached to the specific thing it's backing up.
